Renewal of Certificates of Course Accuracy
(On-line renewal for South of England is now operational
- 24 Feb at 1400 UT - follow steps below)
If you have had a previous measurement, and still have the measurement report
and a certificate of course accuracy which was issued for this measurement
:
- Consult the measurement report to remind yourself of exactly what course
the measurer measured. Check any restrictions about the amount of road
available to runners and the exact location of the start and finish. Have
there been any changes, e.g. roadworks along the route, which might affect
the distance - even by as little as a few metres?
- From the previous Certificate identify the Area Measurement Secretary
who issued the certificate, and the certificate/measurement number on the
certificate.
- For the Midlands or North
of England, fill
in section 3 of the ARC
Course Measurement Form (.pdf) and it send it off with your permit
application to the ARC secretary, who will forward the form to the appropriate
Area Secretary for action.
- For the South of England, you may also use the
form described in step 3 above, but if you have web access, email and a
printer, you will find it very quick and easy to obtain your renewal on-line
at
